Welcome! I am glad you are here.

My name is Liz Shields and I am a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys exploring new techniques and taking on creative challenges. I received a BFA in Sculpture/3D Studies in 2006, then a MAT in Teaching Art in 2014. Since my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have been developing my digital photography, drawing skills, and digital art. Though I do still love, and get a thrill, from working with my hands and building “something from nothing.”

As a former art educator of 6 years, it has been inspiring sharing my knowledge and love of art with my students, while also allowing their enthusiasm and out of the box thinking to infuse my creative mind. It was a wonderful learning experience and partnership for both parties. My personal work is about finding the beauty in ordinary things, being detail oriented, and having a good sense of overall design. Thanks for taking the time to visit and looking at my work.
